This costume was made for a textile assignment at school last year. Me and a friend of mine made it together, so I can't take all the credit for this one. He did a good job. The funny thing about this costume is that we tried to make the clothes look as ugly as humanly possible, and still we got a 6 on the assignment, which is the highest grade possible for us. The shirt even has a smiley on the back that is about to puke. Bad humor indeed. I'm aware of that. It still seemed to give people a good laugh, which was the intention with the whole project, so I'm happy with the outcome. If you're curious about how we made that headcrab, I can mention the ingredients: 1x Bucket Hat, 1x Pillow, 1x T-shirt, Wool and Textile Paint.
For you guys who aren't aware of where those headcrab zombies are from, they're from the computer game Half-Life.
And yes, that is me under that headcrab.
It is also worth mentioning that there was a "fashion show" at school at the end of the project where the students showed off their costumes. As neither me nor my friend is a trained model suited for the cat walk, we packed the costume on a 60 year old math teacher and made him do that job for us. And he did it with style. Hats off to him.
