I got a mail from Blizzard last week, asking if they could display my Diablo drawings among the other fan art in their fan art exhibition at Blizzcon this year. I said yes, of course, but wanted to let them have something of better quality than the other two drawings I've made, so I decided to make this third one. I'm more happy with how this one turned out than the other two, even though there's still room for improvement.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. This is (to me) one of the best Diablo Artworks I have ever seen. There is so much motion in it (by chosing this perspective and this "sphere effect" I guess), the spell animation looks more then fantastic and the the impact on this goat man - I could tell 1000 facts I like about this image. (More than) Superb work!!! Awesome, man.
It would be almost insulting putting it into my "cool Diablo artworks"-collection, because it would deserve a new "superb Diablo artworks"-one... xD

Also, an Assassin using Death Sentry would be fun to draw. Perhaps a little too gory though, with the corpses exploding all over the place...
